A new partnership for the Australian market

On 21 February 2014, Tecno and Schiavello announced their partnership for the Australian market with the launch of the first showroom in Melbourne, which will be followed by Brisbane and Sydney.

Schiavello - a well-known manufacturer of office furniture and market leader - has chosen Tecno to offer the local design community the unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with this iconic brand. The goal is to expand the product offer for the executive spaces, as well as premium operative offices, partitions and public seating.

Back in February, Schiavello hosted the first event to announce the start of the partnership, and show-cased a selection of coveted Tecno products. As anticipated, it was well received by local architectural practices and end-user clients alike.

In his opening speech, Mr Peter Schiavello - Schiavello CEO -  highlighted his perception of Tecno since the beginning of his career, and talked about the terrific mutual synergies that make this special partnership so beneficial for the distribution opportunities in the international markets as well as the local design community. He said:

"There is a strong affinity with sophisticated design, which is in our company's DNA" Peter Schiavello continues, "Tecno had a fundamental role in the history of Italian design over the last sixty years, and we are delighted to share these precious achievements with our local markets."

From today, it is possible to find a selection of Tecno designs in Schiavello showrooms, which can eloquently tell the story and the creative tradition of the company. It embraces a passion for engineering, technological research, outstanding quality  - "the Italian way".
