Jean-Michel Wilmotte

Architect, urban planner and designer, Jean-Michel Wilmotte was born in 1948 in Soissons, France and founded his own architecture company in Paris in 1975.

As part of his widespread activity, the architect prefers to design cultural and museo-graphic spaces with the aim of enhancing the existing heritage. The first encounter with Tecno took place inside the exhibition halls of the Louvre with the creation of the upholstered system Todo Modo. Since then, the collaboration has continued with the creation of objects featuring sober and clean lines, easily interpretable and coherent, conceived with particular attention to the object’s composition, choice of materials and finishes.

Today, his activity is structured around two companies: the Wilmotte & Associés architecture studio and the Wilmotte & Industries SAS design studio, which manage more than 100 projects a year, with an approach that is both innovative and conscientious, with particular attention to greenery, light and matter.
