Tecno London
In 2015, Tecno opened its London office in the Eastern part of the city, in Whitechapel, one of the most popular up and coming areas of the capital, a favourite among architects practices and developers.
The office is part of The Loom, an historic Victorian building which used to house an old fabric factory and currently fitted out with pieces from the historic and contemporary collection.

The space
Loom House was built as a wool storage warehouse for Browne & Eagle Limited in 1889. Loom House was designed as a five-storey warehouse in 1889 and built next to the Commercial Road goods depot to store wool bales imported through Tilbury docks. During the course of time, no longer required as a wool warehouse, Loom House was used for paper storage and later by a wine distributor. In the 1980s the building was converted to provide warehouse space, workshops, studios and office accommodation for Whitechapel’s businesses, artists and craft workers. It became known as New Loom House. In 2013 New Loom House began its transformation into a more contemporary space for work and life.
