The centre is housed in one of the most prestigious buildings in the area, originally built in the Renaissance style in 1861 when the city's southernmost bridge was built. The imposing structure still transmits the pride of its previous occupant, car manufacturer MAN (Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg), and today houses the TIGZ. The centre for innovation and development, dedicated to both professionals and art connoisseurs, is intended to act as a cultural incubator, promoting dialogue and the birth of new ideas for business.
