“quasi niente” by Nicola Galli

Tecno presents "quasi niente” a photographic project that brings to life the Maison-Atelier, Tecno’s Paris headquarters, designed by Le Corbusier for Amédée Ozenfant as a space for contemporary research.

The opening will take place on April 15 to mark the 140th anniversary of the birth of Amédée Ozenfant, highlighting the ideal continuity between the purist research of the early 20th century and a contemporary reflection on formal and structural reduction. The project follows in the tradition of modernism that defined the identity of the building: reduction, structural clarity, and discipline of form. The project revolves around a minimal gesture: a crease pressed into a sheet of paper.

This essential intervention transforms the two-dimensional surface into a vertical presence, introducing a reflection on the relationship between structure, balance, and perception.

Through a rigorous use of light, the photograph constructs volume and makes visible the tension between fragility and stability, in dialogue with the architecture of the Maison. With this initiative, Tecno reaffirms its commitment to the cultural activation of the spaces it houses, promoting a dialogue between 20th-century design research and contemporary artistic practices.

The exhibition is part of a program of invitation-only events, reinforcing Tecno’s role within the Maison-Atelier Ozenfant as a space for dialogue between design, art, and architecture.
