Tecno hosts MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas with Spazio Necessario

On the occasion of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas Tecno opens its showroom in Milan, in Piazza XXV Aprile, hosting Spazio Necessario, an exhibition that connects photography, space, and contemporary thought.

The Caselli di Porta Garibaldi, built in 1834 and now restored by Tecno, are today a place of research and design where Spazio Necessario takes shape. Active in design and furniture since 1953, Tecno works on workplaces and meeting places with a constant focus on people and the concrete conditions of space. The project by artist Teresa Giannico (Bari, 1985) presents a series of works focusing on the relationship between environment and individual, a recurring and significant theme in her research. The occasion offers an opportunity to reflect on how physical and mental contexts influence and shape thought.

Through imaginary landscapes, living spaces, and artist studios, the works question the role of space and time in urban life and their relationship with creative practice. With works that have just returned from the Rome Quadriennale and are being previewed in Milan, the exhibition will take place from March 10 to 25, 2026.

With Spazio Necessario, Tecno reaffirms its commitment to fostering dialogue between design, contemporary art, and culture.
