Tecno Milan “quasi niente” by Nicola Galli

“quasi niente”Nicola Galli's photographic research meets the historic architecture of Tecno Milano.

Following the success of its debut presentation in Paris, Tecno, in collaboration with Galleria Podbielski, presents “quasi niente” in Milan, a photographic project by Nicola Galli, hosted at the company's Milan headquarters, within the historic complex of the former Porta Garibaldi Customs Houses.

The opening event, scheduled for 19 November 2026, marks a new chapter in the exhibition's journey, establishing a fresh dialogue with the historical and architectural heritage of Tecno's Milan headquarters. A landmark brought back to life through a careful restoration and redevelopment project, which enhanced its original architectural features, including the historic stucco decorations, while preserving its identity and heritage. Within this setting, Nicola Galli's photographic research offers a contemporary reflection on the essential nature of form, material and structure.

The project takes shape through a minimal gesture: a single fold in a sheet of paper. A simple, deliberate intervention that transforms a two-dimensional surface into a three-dimensional presence, exploring the relationship between structure, balance and perception. Through a rigorous use of light, photography reveals depth and volume, capturing the tension between fragility and stability, lightness and geometric precision. An essential visual language that naturally resonates with Tecno's design culture, long defined by the convergence of aesthetic research, technical precision and innovation.

With this initiative, Tecno reaffirms its commitment to enhancing the cultural value of its spaces, fostering opportunities for exchange and dialogue between art, design and architecture. This on going journey reflects the company's vision of its headquarters not simply as places of representation, but as spaces open to experimentation, creativity and the sharing of new design perspectives
