Tecno “Tabula Rasa” by Riccardo Paternò Castello

Tecno presents “Tabula Rasa,” an exhibition project by Riccardo Paternò Castello conceived for Maison-Atelier Ozenfant, the Paris headquarters of Tecno France and an iconic site of modern architecture.

Designed by Le Corbusier for his friend, the painter Amédée Ozenfant, the Maison is one of the capital’s first purist homes and stands as a significant testament to the master’s architectural exploration.

The opening, scheduled for October 9, 2026, reaffirms the Maison’s role as a space where design, art, and architecture converge.

The project stems from a reinterpretation of Agnolo Bronzino’s Portrait of Bia de’ Medici, developed through the language of the Tabula Rasa series. Distributed across the various levels of the Maison-Atelier Ozenfant, the works establish a silent dialogue with the clarity and rigor of the architecture, respecting its rhythm and balance. On the upper floor, the serial nature of the project finds its fullest expression: the works alternate between sequences and isolated pieces, allowing pauses, distances, and empty spaces to become an integral part of the exhibition itinerary. The itinerary includes works of various formats and pieces created using graphite, acrylic, and gold leaf. In the meeting room, a triptych with a more abstract style interacts with the Tecno furnishings, reinforcing the dialogue between art, design, and space.

With Tabula Rasa, Tecno France continues the cultural activation program at the Maison-Atelier Ozenfant, highlighting its architectural legacy through engagement with contemporary artistic languages.
