Cosmos table

The Furniture System That Expands Infinitely Across Space

COSMOS---COPA---SITO---1

Tables and shelving units created with the ambition of exploring the limits of materials in the field of product and furniture design. The distinctive feature of the design is the use of the minimum possible amount of material while achieving extraordinary mechanical strength. To this end, Cosmos develops an innovative structural concept based on a central spine connected to the structure. A slender, iconic, and elegant solution that meets the needs of multifunctional environments requiring a fluid use of space: from residential settings to executive offices, from campuses to hospitality spaces, from libraries to lounges and public areas.

Cosmos is a modular furniture system that opens up to endless connections and layouts: single desks, meeting tables, shared workstations, and equipped bookcases, all freely configurable and combinable with one another while offering the possibility of integrating wiring, screens, extensions, and lighting.

Experimental

Inspired by the aviation industry and the racing frames of the cycling world, the aesthetics and structure have been refined through the use of state-of-the-art aluminum manufacturing technologies and advanced 3D modeling software to achieve maximum geometric efficiency and structural solidity, in the purest elegance.

Light

The aesthetics of the elements are the exact consequence of the maximum solidity achieved in relation to the slenderness of the structure, which is subtle and light. A result of incredible strength characterized by the four-ellipse shape of the bar that branches out into the different elements to create legs and top supports

Modular

The family of components allows the spine of the table to grow, creating linear and extended groupings for ever-evolving environments. The system is ideal for small and medium, but especially large-scale projects, where assembly management requires a fast and efficient response.
